Dear Viraj, As promised please find included a few pictures of my current setup of the High Flame Woodstove at my residence. Since we have earthen roofs in Ladakh I used liquid clay to seal the outside. As you can notice I also fixed a clamp on the outside to prevent the weight of the pipe resting on the stove. It rests on 2 pieces of ply wood on the roof. Also mind the beautiful landscape in the back! The pipe on the inside goes through a pipe with bigger diameter through the roof, the hole in between that I had closed with the fire rope and then taped with aluminium tape. Lastly I painted this combination and pipe with the Stove Paint and am satisfied with the result. The stove temporarily stand on a green sedimentary rock slab, but I want to make a small platform for it next year. Feel free to use my name and pictures on you website. Thanks again and hope to hear from you when the glass has arrived, Henk
The installation took about 3 hours - we had pre-fabricated mild steel pipes and bends - The stone wall thickness is 18 inches. The flue chimney exhausts from the top of the Gabriel wood burning and multi-fuel cast iron stove (the rear exhaust option is available too for all our free standing stoves) because the room was small and we wanted the stove to be snug against the wall (not too close - not that the stone/cement would get worn or damaged in any manner) and facing the center of the room, placed diagonal at the corner.
